We are proud to employ the exceptional individuals that share our messages.

Keith Myette

Keith was involved in an unrestrained car collision twenty years ago.

Waking in hospital to find he had no vision, he immediately showed focus and athletic tenacity as he progressed from learning how to walk with a cane, to competing in track only two years later. Keith has won medals for Canada in the World Championships and Paralympics.

He is an advocate of independent living, and does not let his disability handicap his active social lifestyle.

Since acquiring his physical disability by losing one of his senses, Mr. Myette has made several adaptations successfully developing what he calls his "sixth sense;" his sense of humor.

Keith has been a member of the A-Team for 10 years, delivering thousands of presentations
with them. He also speaks on customer service training, and loves to present at Teacher's conventions.

Craig West

Craig was born in Red Deer, Alberta and lived just outside Sylvan Lake. He was born with a very rare medical condition; Craig was born without eyes and was totally blind from birth.

He has studied the violin since about 10. Craig began lessons in Red Deer, and then eventually he went to Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta for more advanced instruction. He graduated from HJ Cody School in Sylvan Lake in 1992. Craig received his Diploma in Music Performance majoring in violin from Mount Royal College in 1995. In 1999, Mr. West received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Calgary.

Though Craig a trained in classical music, he has branched out into other genres such as Celtic, gospel, Bluegrass, and western fiddle music. He has given 7 full-length concert recitals, and also played for various weddings, funerals, assorted business functions, and entertained at senior's lodges, and nursing homes.

Apart from music, Craig enjoys speaking to students with The Awareness Team. Craig is a devout Christian and whether it is playing music, or speaking to students, his goal is to honor God, and to show others that in spite of a disability, God has given him peace, and the ability to be effective in society.

Kelly Graham

Kelly is an individual who has undergone several major life changes to become the person he is today. He was born and raised (a term he insists should be used lightly) during the height of construction season in Yorkton, Saskatchewan Canada.

On Aug 5th, 1995 (about supper time) Kelly was involved in an unrestrained and serious motor vehicle collision for which he was clearly at fault. After waking from a coma with a brain injury and subsequently hitting rock bottom, he embarked on a lifetime pursuit of the factors that enable some to use more of their brain power than others.

Kelly is a hulking mass of shear muscle and boyish good looks, six foot seven and 1100 pounds (soaking wet.) He is also a certified Cheers comedian, and sometimes considers himself somewhat of clown.

He enjoys: walking, running, singing, swimming, crawling, go-carting, skating, being pushed in a wheelchair, skiing, boating and floating. He collects DVD‘s, likes astronomy and watching the ISS orbit.

His second major life change came with the birth of his son, Geoffery. Again, continuous learning has helped Kelly role-model the type of person he believes his son can be. This is after considerable life experience.

It is rumored that years ago Kelly used to wear his pants underneath his pajamas in case of a fire in the winter. (Honest.) and that was before he was brain injured.

Kelly is a writer and speaker. He is also the founder of A+ Communication, which is a Speakers' Bureau for persons' with disabilities. His main client is the Awareness Team, for whom he has done over 700 presentations to elementary students with. All kidding aside, Kelly loves to share his life experience within the didactic A-Team format.

He was recently named to the Advisory Board for Advanced Rehabilitation & Community Services.
